Thought I would pass this along for anyone looking for an S10.

P.S. Does anyone happen to have a copy of the manual to go with the winch, or know how to adjust the travel. Mine is installed, but no clue on adjusting the travel internally?

Thanks
Chris

Hi. I have two S10 winch and they are different from one another. One IS adjustable and the other is NOT. the adjustable one has a small hole on the side covered with tape, remove the tape and ajust with a screwdriver. Hope this helps, Hans

Hi Chris. I have one of these new in the box with instructions and it doesn't say any thing about being adjustable. I might be wrong but I don't think it's adjustable. Skip[8D]

Chris,
I took a good look at both of the FP-S10 Futaba winches I have and the one that IS ajustable has a round dot of black tape just above the spot where thew wires come out of the housing. Remove this tape and use a screw driver to adjust. Like I said there MUST be two models because only one of my winches has this. Hope this helps, If you want a picture of the winch send me a email.
Hans
