For those of you who don't know what to get your boat for Christmas, and always wonder what the state of its batteries are, the maker of wondeful winches, Rob Guyatt has a new item. I don't have one, but it looks good, check http://www.users.bigpond.com/rmgsw/ and look at the home page.

Hi everyone, Guess what I bought myself for Xmas?
Yes Rob`s FLASH unit works great. Mine is not yet installed in a boat so is used around the workshop to measure various batteries.
It is much easier to read than a meter and less fidley than trying to hold two leads, one battery, a light bulb and associated bits.
All the best wishes for Christmas and the new year to all EC12
owners from me here in Wellington.

DO IT NOW, Before it`s to late
