So I bought a RC truck for me and my boy (3 years old) for Christmas, ok for me. I got a Traxxas Stampede. It is blast to drive because it goes over anything, takes some serious hits, and goes about 30, I got the slow one Anyway one of the reasons I got it was because it said it was waterproof. After blasting it through the snow and through puddles a couple of inches deep I can say that they were correct. In the owners manual it actually tells you to hose it down to get all of the mud off of it! My point of all of this is that Traxxas has created a couple of things that lend them selves perfectly to our sailing hobby. First they have a line of waterproof servos and second they have a waterproof receiver case that is really sweet and cheep. Check out the links below for the waterproof bits.
