Well, the beat goes on.

When testing the Winch the AR6000 suddenly stops...the light went on.

Then, I switched off and on again, and the power came pack.
Furthur tesing the winch for a while and then it stopped again.

Man, this is getting complicated.
Any ideas on this one?

I have a 6V 2300mah battery.

The whole system is acting funny now.
I binded the tx to the rx and installed a new s3010 rudder servo.

The rmg winch travels and the rudder twitches at the same time
and then the AR6000 cuts out.

I guess I need to redo the wiring all over again or get a new rx.
Weird happenings.

It's crude but I think you could figure it out.

I don't use the regulator in the winch and that is the configuration that this diagram shows.

The drawing you have there is the same as the "Alt" wiring diagram on the RMG webpage I linked above. Those are great instructions/pics of how to get the power wire out of the Futaba connector for the RMG.

I am not really sure what would be wrong other than a possible bad receiver if you hook up the electronics as diagrammed. Make sure that you do not have power from the RMG and from the battery both going to the receiver (which is why you remove the red wire from the diagram that RMG shows and Al have listed)

I'm now ordering new AR6000 receiver.

I found that my ar6000 was dropping out as well. when using the winch and doing radical rudder moves (dodging other boats). the rx would shut down. I verified that it was a result of the the servo's eating all the juice and causing enough of a voltage drop for the rx to shut down and reset itself.

I use the same set up as your describing and at first had the same problem.

A few possible reasons for this...

1-loose connection someplace.

2-Low Battery that tests like it is good. Do you have a load tester?

3-You have a "Standard" RMG wiring set up which places the AR6000 getting its power through the RMG(No battery connected directly to the AR6000)
If you are using a 6v. pack, the RMG steps this down to 4.8v when it supplies the RX. No matter what happens, you should change this to the new set up using a "splitter" after the on/off switch that supplies power to both the RMG and the RX at the same time. This way both the RMG and the RX get the full 6v supply. You must also remove the center "red" power wire from the plug coming from the RMG to the Rx. Simply shrink tube the pin and secure it to its own wire. This will leave the signal wire (orange) and the ground (brown) still connected to the RX.

4-Reprogram you winch and set your "battery monitoring" to Off.
