Getting numbers off the sails

Does anyone know what will take magic marker off the sail? Will MEK hurt the sail material or even work on magic marker?

I have used Acetone, watch out for tape/glue on any seems. Wipe off rather quickly with paper towel whatever. Dick

I use acetone. Lay the sail on a surface that is resistant to acetone and put a cloth under the area you are working as the chemical will leach through the sail. Use rubber gloves and do it in a well ventilated area.

Denatured alcohol also works well and is less aggressive than acetone

The acetone took them right off and the correct numbers are now on the sails. We already have two "58s" in the club so I put the entire number on.

Thanks to all
