Elastic for boom control

Has anyone any experience with installing a light shock cord on the booms to help them ease in light air. Mine seem to remain in close hauled position until some wind moves them

IF there is not enough air to even move your boom (assuming that it swings freely) I would not be in too much of a hurry.[8D]

To right Larry
If there is not that much wind go sunbathing instead[8D]
Loading up winch is not worth burning it out by overloading it going onto wind.[xx(]
