sail panels

Postby marcsmith » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:13 pm

Howdee folks

making a new suit of sails. plotted them in cad per the rules and printed them out, and I noticed that I had drawn in seams that where perpendicular to the luff but on some sails I have seen the seams perp to the leech....

of course I have seen some upper panels that have seams that are at really an obscure angle...

so just wondering before I start cutting...is there a preferred way or is it "builders choice" if it maters I'm using CPM505 for the sails...
