I am curious about the use of a Monocote (sp.?) iron for taking care of sail wrinkles in, at least, Tsp sail material. Most thermoplastic polymers have been heat set at the factory during production, and if the temperature used for that process is not exceeded, it seems that one would be able to "iron" out any wrinkles that were introduced during sailing or storage. It might be necessary to restrain the sail from shrinking, as Chuck Luscomb did. Has anyone tried this? Also, can anyone provide me a maufacturer's name for the Tsp materials used? Thanks!
