Mechanical advantage using two bowsies

Postby Frandito » Thu Aug 19, 2010 2:03 pm

A few years ago i found a pic on the building site that used two bowsies working together to create sort of a block and tackle arrangement for the backstay.
The idea was not so much for the mechanical advantage, but more for the fine tuning and precise control that it provided. Alos is was less likely to slip.

I cannot locate it.
Does anyone know from what i speak?

thanks
