Are there any rules governing the size diameter, length, or shape (flat vs round) for the ec-12?

I don't think there is any regulations other than length......that might not even be a regulation but just optimal

I am using airfoil shaped spreders on my new boat

wow that sounds cool. Can you tell me where you found the material to make them.

If it is not mentioned in the rules it is not a rule.

Most Hobby shops that handle R/C aircraft have what you need... the airfoil material ( aluminum) is used for wing struts.
