Round Groovy Mast or OVAL Groovy Mast.

Probably an OVAL Mast create more Turbulence when not aligned to the flow of the wind, but is more efficient in Close Hauled which could make it preferable. Any suggestion.

Foil shaped spars are the predominant spar in the class. available from a few sources ( check the Suppliers page)

Swing rigs are VERBOTTEN in the EC12 class

Doug. I know than Swing Rigs are verbotten in the EC12 Class, that doesn't mean that I can't look around and evaluate about it .............personally I like to sail for fun and experiment applications .....................

In that case I bet your best bet would to be visiting similar forums of classes that allow the swing rig.

guys who play with these regularly would be your best source of info
