This is a town where they seem to welcome skippers to the lake. Mike Cavenaugh of White Rose Model Yacht Club is looking for venues in the PA/MD region. He may have found a location for 12's. The local publicity was great.

Part of what he reported:
The lake is actually in town, with a museum nearby. There is a cement walkway and small wall around most of the lake. Parking and restroom (portable) are both very close. The water itself is only a foot or two deep at the most; and there are MANY large carp -- and consequently no aquatic grasses.........
The Parks Superintendent provided a recovery boat and crew for it. Only used the boat to deploy, relocate and recover the marks...........
