1039 was registered to John Purcell of Altantic Beach FL in Feburary 1988. There is no evidence of another owner. This boat would likely need a complete refit.

The seller likely does not have the numbers correct but it an Ozmun. Hull is #97 and the sail number and YRN is 1039 not 2039.

You're right Rick, those are the sail numbers in the photo. I'm keeping my eye on it as a possible fourth EC12 in the Sun City Carolina Lakes Model Yacht fleet. Gotta wean these guys off the Nirvanas[:D]

I'm 1038, so my is the hull prior to this one. I hope this one was built better than my. My boat's lead was poured incorrectly with too much lead on the aft end of the keel. You can imagine what fun I had drilling the lead out. I probably should have made a stink about it since it didn't sit right. Oh well, that was many moons ago.
