How have you all glued/epoxied or resined your deck to the hull?

I recently(haven't sailed vs others yet) built a Hartman boat.He has a lip on the top of the hull.I roughed this well with 150 open grit and after putting in cross-members to proper beam measurments and having the boat ready to sail-and this is HUGE-make sure you like your ballast position, forward turning-block,aft elastic block, rudder set-up...this is discussed at length in building section.tape the hull to deck and try it out.I then covered and taped the interior of the hull with all it's "stuff". I taped and covered the outside hull.I mixed chopped fiberglas fiber (2oz)in West system epoxy to a thickness like toothpaste applied it to the lip and put saran-wrap over the deck and then piled every magazine in my house then my tool-box and let it sit for a day.Sand the edges carefully and it sould be great.

Thanks, I went ahead and used the west system. Probably the most nearve racking part of the build is shutting in everyhting you could get at easily.

will know more on Sunday when I return to the boat yard
