when to paint?

Hi l intend to use a two pot paint finsh on my hull question is
when to apply paint
(1) on bear hull before doing any work on it
(2) or fit some of the ribs for strength and then paint
(3)fit hull out completly and then paint
(4)l intend to use a formica deck will this have any bearing on work
timetable

I don't know how you are going to finish out your sheer seam (deck and hull) but if it were me, I would finish the glass work and prep the hull for painting and then paint it. That way I have the glass work complete 100%. I would not want to do ANY work to the boat after it is painted. FWIW.

Get the boat totally completed, ready to sail, maybe even test sail it. Once you are happy with the set up, sail trim, etc., then strip it down and prep for paint. The paint job should be the last step.
