Does anyone subscribe to and read Dellenbaugh's Speed & Smarts?
Is it appropo to our kind of racing?

I did for five years. It was about 25% helpful and the rest had to do with crew management, series evaluations, navigation in currents and the like. Tactical and rules were good. I just cancelled it.
