For those skippers who may need to brush up on the rules, the web sites below are full of excellent animated rule situations that are fun to explore:

Dave Dellenbauch's news letter and book information on rules can be located at http://www.speedandsmarts.com/

The ISAF site: http://www.sailing.org/default.asp?MenuID=t62wGX28zoMoD~`RtK/DVn19A_h90KAM,S`l`FhHqDPicu~`zD3v4Ieebmcj,Xek7Act02 gives limited interpretations of some rule technicalities. (cut and paste this one to get it right)

US Sailing also offers a "call book" with interpretations of the rules in a downloadable PDF file at http://www.sailing.org/rrs2005/casebook2005.pdf

Keep yourself out of the protest hearings by knowing both your rights as well as your obligations under the RRS
