To the International Community:
A previous member of this forum has been denied access to all parts of this forum based on long term issues here and in his own country. We regret this action but found it neccessary for 12 Discussions and the members. The following was an email in response to the denial.

Bob Atkinson (Tosh), NZL:
Your permissions for access to the USA EC12 Discussions Forum have been denied. This denial is based on your past irritations to members of our class and others around the world reported here and in your country. Further, the International Chat room was created for your postings outside of the design forum protocols. Even there the ire of your countrymen have been raised and they, as the authority in your country have removed you from their forum and requested the same from the US. Pending your postings since that request the US has agreed with the NZLEC12OA and followed the same course. You were warned on the forum by one of the authority officers to consider your attitude in your postings. You did not in our opinion or theirs. You are no longer welcome at 12 Discussions, which is subscribed worldwide.

Evening All,

It is with deep regret that this has happened. Over the past fourteen months we in New Zealand have tried, in hours of contact to avert any action against this person.

Please be assured that we have extensively exhausted all avenues to bring this issue to a happy end. It is with much embarrestment that we have had to ask Rick West and your association to support us by removing the member from this site.

Many of us in New Zealand, myself included felt that he had crossed a line in his offensive remarks toward us, as to our ability to hold and international event in New Zealand.

This members comments while aimed at a few, slighted the RYSN club members (not on this site) who are already working hard to make this a memoriable and outstanding event..

Again our deepest apologies to Rick and all fellow skippers on this site.

Philip Whitley,
Class Advisor - New Zealand EC12 Owners Association.
