Just spoke to John Rowley. Can you believe that they were sailing today when the tornado's went through about 5 miles south of them? John said it was a good day on the lake! As far as he knows, no damage to any of the sailor's property. Great news there, but, let's say a prayer for the other people who have been affected by this tragedy. Skip

Man! Just saw a photo album on the Fox News website. Even shots from The Villages. I hope everyone is ok. There must have been golf carts flying everywhere.

I got emails today from John Rowley, Kent Farndell, and Ken Morrison. All were fine and no damage to their own property. And yes they went sailing today.

There seems to have been no warning with this storm, and at 3:30 in the morning most everyone was sleeping. Our prayers are with them.

Yes, we did go sailing, about 2 miles north of the path. The Villages is great, they pulled all their contractors off of new construction and started cleanup and blue tarping of roofs. The effort continues and there are insurance companies everywhere. The county is involved seeing that only licensed contractors are involved where they can control it.

Even though we were 5 miles north of the path, my wife, Sue, suggested we need a storm room. I have been designing it and getting the approvals I need for a couple of days. Yesterday she suggested it might make a nice closet for me and she could take over my old one across from hers. Am I missing something here?......

Another "by the way" we had 8 boats out last Friday, and three of our locals were missing. So our fleet is getting there!
