I want these plans, but I can't seem to find the class store. Does it still exist? If so, how can I access it? --Jim L

Guys there is a great design for a cradle in "The manual for the EAST COAST 12 METRE' on page 37A. its good for this cradle lets you lay the boat on its side for rigging if your got a Dumas or a Treasure Tooling hull.
I would suppose that the Latest hulls(for this one design class) could be accomodated in it as well.

And by the way I've been told that the current EC12 organisation has printing rights for this book but we can't obtain them in Australia!!

Treasure, you and others need understand that there is no differece between the so called "latest" hulls to be produced shortly and '95 standard program of the past decade. Only the tweaking of the concave area at the trailing edge of the keel, which will make the rudder installation easier, and the correction of a slight dip that somehow developed on the forward port sheerline. This dip can only be detected with a careful eye and is far enough forward that it never reaches the water. None of these are performance enhancements, just asthetics.

The cradle plans in the book you mentioned are the same as stated above. Both the book and the full size cradle plans are available from the class secretary. The class decided to stock these because some were having difficulty getting a response from the original supplier.

Have a look at my Cradle, it has 2 draws under the boat to put all your goodies and Transmitter in. You will find it on our Local Clubs web site www.crys.co.nz on the For Sale page. If you click on the picture of the Bare Hull it will enlarge.
