I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Robert Dudinsky this Tuesday. Bob had just recently had full knee replacement surgery and was on the mend, so the news was pretty shocking.

As most of you in the EC12 Class know, Bob was responsible for securing the EC12 Class for many years to come. Under Rick West's leadership of the Class, Bob used his expertise in fiberglass fabrication to produce the Class-owned molds that are used to produce all new EC12 hulls. Bob also started RMD Marine, where he produced some of the finest hulls the Class has ever seen. He was the only manufacturer to produce a one piece hull. RMD Marine also produced just about everything for the EC12 from goosenecks to mast cranes and every part in between.

Born on October 9, 1946, Bob is survived by his wife Dee, son Derek, daughter Tina, and brother John. A celebration of his life will follow and we will share the date and time with everyone.

Fair winds and a following sea Bob.

I'll very much miss Bob.
I'll have the mixings for the "Perfect" Manhattan in the suite at Jax regatta for all who wish him fair winds and following seas with the Greers & Luscombs.
Info at the lake Sat.
He was a real force in EC-12 becomming the great fleet it is.
Hope he can rest easy now.

Oh Poppa Bear! What I would do for one more hug! I am so sorry that I wont hear your gruffy voice cheering me on (or telling me I could do better). So sorry Dee. You know you have my love. - Brenda P

Bob was a great contributor to the class, and always willing to help someone fix something or do better. You would frequently find him helping to sort out a problem with their boat and rigs. He will be missed. Condolences to Dee and the entire family.
