I have just come across an NZ Model Yachting Newsletter from September 1987. In this is an article with photo of a Mr Dennis Connor (I think he had something to do with the Americas Cup, didn't he?[:)])
The photo is of Rod Carr congratulating Dennis Connor on his AMYA mebership and registering an EC12 - US55 which was to be fitted out by Rod Carr.

Just wondering - is the boat still around? and does Mr Connor still belong to the AMYA / EC12's??[8D]

Hi Chris,
US55 was registered to Dennis Connor in June of that year. The boat is an Ozmun 34 and is still registered to him. He is no longer a member of AMYA.
