YRN #222

Postby 1jwm2435 » Mon Mar 17, 2014 10:17 am

I have recently purchased YRN #222. It was originally registered to Susan Conner in the early to mid 70's. There is nothing inside the hull to give me a clue. I am trying to determine the Hull Manufacturer was and who actually built the boat. I am looking to restoring the boat to competitive condition and am looking for some history. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

According to the registry, 222 was registered in 1973, Conner address in Farmingham Center, MA .

According to our old card file, it was sold in 1975 to a Dr. DeRose in Springfield MA.
The boat was called SEAGULL. Maybe an old salt in the area will remember.

In the early 70's there was no requirement to add a sticker to identify the boats. That started around 1977. So sorry to say we have nothing else on her in the files.
