2011 Leukemia Cup

Sailors,

The Northern Virginia Model Yacht Club is once again participating in
the Leukemia Cup Regatta
http://www.leukemiacup.org/nca/localchapter/model this September.

Last year we had great success with building a Soling One Meter and this year we'd like to do it again and add a Victoria ready to sail, and an EC12 "kit" ready to build for the silent auction.

The main problem is that the well we have drawn our electronics and
other misc parts from has dried up.

My hope is that some of you folks who have gone digita and have some
older electronics or some of you who have changed rigs out for one
reason or another or even someone looking to donate an older complete
boat/hull, maybe a manufacturer who has hulls/decks/rudders that may not be perfect cosmetically for resale, or even some small amount of cash.

Would you please give the club consideration. The club does not profit from this event and all donations go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Last year our club raised $7,000 and its a pretty high bar that we set for ourselves for this year.

something to me, the chances of getting the parts picked up could pretty good.
