Hello.
I am a member of the Marblehead Model Yacht club.
I have an EC12 located in Salem, M.A. that needs refurbishing. I was hoping to find a builder in the Mass. Area that is experienced with EC12's and would like to work on my boat.
I would be willing to pay money, or would be open to barter options with many carbon-fiber parts that I have.
Please let me know of any experienced 12 builders in the area.
Thank You
-Eddie

Eddie,
I am sure you will get a response from the area.
I would like to identify the EC12 you have for the records. Can you tell me the manufacturer of the hull and the serial number? This often is a label in the hull. Is there a AMYA label in the hull with a number? What numbers do you have on the sails? Who did you get this boat from?
Any other information like dates and places would help. Thank you. Put the information on here or email from this site.

Thank you for your replies.
My boat is registered with the 12 class. it is a Hickman, and is sail #1343
I spoke to Dave Ramos with the CR914's, and he is working on a quote. the issue with him is that he is much further away from me, and mentioned your name Chuck.
I would be glad to speak to you about the project. It really isnt too complicated, and I can take digital photos and etc to work from there.
I think the best thing to do is talk directly on the phone. that way I can describe to you what needs to be done.
You can call me anytime at:
Nine seven eight, seven six six, five zero nine eight
(sorry for the heiroglyphics)
I'll also check back with this thread if that does not work for you

I can unreservedly recommend Chuck for any EC-12 project you may have.
He his a top notch sailor and a real wizard inside and out the EC-12.

Anyone reading this that also sails Marbleheads:
I have a few Marblehead parts and a plug from Bantock listed on the AMYA classifieds section.
http://www.theamya.org/classifieds/
I'm hoping to fund some of this build with these parts.
They also won't be of use to me, since I have a functional Marblehead (M-2333)
Thank You
